Michael Cerjak is an associate in the Milwaukee office of Kasdorf, Lewis & Swietlik, S.C., and he practices in the litigation group at the firm.
Mr. Cerjak earned his law degree, with honors, in 2008 from the Marquette University Law School, where he served as an editor for the Marquette Law Review, a member of Marquette’s National Appellate Advocacy moot court team, and a member of the moot court board. Mr. Cerjak was active in law school, having served as a research assistant to Professors Bruce Boyden and Jay Grenig as well as to the Honorable Maxine A. White. He also gained valuable litigation experience serving as a judicial intern to the Honorable John L. Coffey, Senior Judge of the United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit; the Honorable Rudolph Randa, Chief Judge of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Wisconsin; and the Honorable Patricia Curley, Chief Judge of the Wisconsin Court of Appeals. During law school, Mr. Cerjak was recognized with several CALI--highest grade--awards, including those for Securities Regulation, Legal Writing & Research 1, Legal Writing & Research 2, Federal Civil Litigation, and Criminal Law.
Prior to entering law school, Mr. Cerjak received a degree in software engineering from the Milwaukee School of Engineering in 2005.
